🎬 Do vegetarians get enough protein - Michael Greger
The video provides examples of different types of nutrition and vegetarianism. Pure vegetarians are understood as vegans. Large-scale scientific studies confirm that vegans get 70% more protein than they need per day, not to mention other types of nutrition. Less than 3% of people do not get enough of it, but these are people following a strict diet and simply not eating enough.
But fiber in the required amount is obtained by less than 3%. Just think, 97% of people do not eat enough whole plant foods! Fiber protects us from many diseases and promotes longevity and health in general.
If we pay attention to research, we find that worldwide protein excess predominates. But why then are people advised to consume more of it? Why, without checking tests and without other evidence showing protein deficiency, are they told that we have low protein? These questions are answered by the book: "The China Study" - Colin Campbell
